The Foch Meetings – Women’s Health

This morning, the Foundation hosted its second breakfast conference, The Foch Meetings, on the theme of Women’s Health, led by Dorothée Balsan, journalist and television producer.

This event provided an opportunity for our two guest speakers to discuss menopause, its symptoms, treatments, and the innovative programs implemented at Foch Hospital:
📍 Professor Jean-Marc Ayoubi, Head of the Department of Gynecology-Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine at Hôpital Foch, who is notably known for performing France’s first uterine transplants as part of his program to combat infertility.
📍 Virginie Florin, author of the book “50 ans et la vie est belle” (“50 Years Old and Life is Beautiful”) and expert on the topic, who runs the account “A ton âge quand même”.

The key message? Menopause is not a fatality; it should be addressed holistically, rather than solely through treatments to alleviate symptoms.

The Foundation warmly thanks the speakers for making this event a success, as well as all the participants.
